Michigan Short-Term Rental Association (MiSTRA) is seeking individuals interested in serving on our Board of Directors.
Board service is an opportunity to help shape the direction of the organization, strengthen Michigan’s short-term rental community, and support thoughtful advocacy and education across the state.
Board Member Expectations:
- Two-year commitment
- Approximately 6–8 hours per month
- Participation in board meetings and organizational initiatives
- A willingness to contribute your perspective, experience, and time to advancing MiSTRA’s mission
We are looking for engaged, thoughtful individuals who care about the future of short-term rentals in Michigan and are interested in helping move the organization forward.

We welcome interest from short-term rental owners, operators, industry professionals, and others who bring relevant experience and a commitment to MiSTRA’s work willing to contribute.
We are looking for a diverse range of skills, experiences, and interests. We have opportunities in advocacy and legislative affairs, fundraising, marketing and advertising, social media, communications, general administration and management.
